This year’s conference will be titled “Healing Invisible Scars” and we will focus on overcoming trauma, relationship dynamics, cardiovascular disease prevention, and overall the mental, spiritual, and physical protection of your heart. We aim to address these specific health disparities and engage a community to reach towards prevention.
We are honored to bring back Mrs. Alondra Thompson, as our Panel Moderator for this year’s discussion. Alondra, along with three other dynamic speakers will discuss this year’s theme in great detail. As panel moderator, Alondra will direct the discussion to address those hard hitting topics that overall impact our heart health.
Alondra is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a diverse background in mental health and working with adolescents, couples, and individuals. She currently is a LCSW at Cares Community Health Clinic and runs her own practice, the AThompson Therapy, located in Sacramento, CA.
As a therapist, her goal is to help people uncover your true potential and lead a life that is worth celebrating. Dr. Thompson is versed in applying complementary therapy approaches and techniques to examine behavior patterns or negative perceptions that may be hindering a person from experiencing a more fulfilling and meaningful life.
She believes that while we can't change difficult situations of the past, we can work together to better understand and resolve challenges in your life.
